Mental Health Disorders, Formal Assessment: $1900

Evaluates presence of current mental health conditions often requiring treatment. Offers diagnosis for major mental health disorders and screens for other mental health conditions requiring treatment.​ Disorders assessed for include Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Adjustment Disorder. Other mental health disorders are screened for and recommendations for further assessment made if needed.

Mental Health Disorders, Specific Conditions: ADHD & PTSD: $600

Specific assessments tailored to evaluate whether Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder are present. Other mental health conditions are not screened for or evaluated. These are offered when a person suspects either PTSD or ADHD, and would like this explored more in-depth.

 

Capacity Assessment: $500-$700

An integral part of the process to determine if an adult with disabilities or developmental challenges can make personal or financial decisions and can understand the consequences. A capacity assessment is done to determine if an adult can make their own personal or financial decisions (trusteeship), as well as understand the information and consequence of making those decisions (guardianship). Recommendations provided with the report may suggest full, joint, or co-decision making.
